Boko Haram Government Offensive - 2013
Boko Haram Government Offensive
Again, just a quick map to quickly put a scenario together based on the 2013 Nigerian Government offensive in North East Nigeria against Boko Haram.
The map was quick enough to create along with the units although nothign is very historical, but im happy with the map as its a bit more interesting than the Battle of Alasay map which is just mountain. No shortage of towns and features here. I have randomly places bush amongst a background of scrub based visually on an areal map of the region. It just seems a little greener south and east of the north west river system.
From start to finsih as it is, less than an hour. Clearly not complete, accurate or balanced, but its a main building block done. All thats left to do is figure out the belligerants etc although I have now put in a fairly good representation of the Nigerian Army, not all of it, but most of the 1st Div and elements of the 2nd and 3rd but not the 7th, 81st or 82nd.
